**Job Summary**

RDO Equipment Australia is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in a field-based role. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers across a range of John Deere Agriculture equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform general service and repairs on John Deere Agriculture equipment, including tractors, combine harvesters, sprayers, cotton pickers, and ride-on mowers and power tools.
  • Conduct major overhauls and new machine assembly, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with equipment, using logical and methodical approaches to resolve problems.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to provide excellent customer service and support.

**Requirements**

  • Hold a Mechanical Trade Certificate and have previous experience in engine overhauls and major repairs, including electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic skills.
  • Be in possession of a current and valid driver's license.
  • Have a mature attitude and a logical and methodical approach to work, enabling you to work effectively in both workshop and field environments.
  • Possession of high-risk work tickets and/or licenses is highly regarded.
