Fuel Tanker Drivers Job

We are seeking skilled individuals to operate fuel tanker trucks and support the delivery of fuel to Defence.

The role involves working closely with an Operations Supervisor in Sydney's North-West area, supporting a major fuel installation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating fuel tanker trucks around the fuel installation and defence base.
  • Loading fuel tanks with required fuel and delivering it to designated refuelling points.
  • Ensuring effective delivery of fuel to aircraft by operating pumps on tanker trucks.
  • Communicating with internal and external teams to provide good customer experience.
  • Supporting the broader operations team and performing duties within the fuel installation when required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong team player attitude and self-starting skills.
  • A current HR/MC drivers licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence.
  • Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential.
  • Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team.
  • Current holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances.
