Cloud Application Specialist Role Overview

The Cloud Application Specialist plays a pivotal role in the delivery of mission-critical systems that clinicians across NSW Health rely on to provide 24x7 critical care.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
  • Design, build, operate, and maintain enterprise applications on public cloud platforms and in shared services environments.
  • Provide support for project implementations and change management practices for new enhancements and system updates.
  • Offer expertise in complex incident management, change request fulfillment, health check maintenance, escalations, monitoring, and resiliency testing.
  • Perform operational and improvement activities to ensure system security, resiliency, stability, and availability.
Requirements and Qualifications

We seek an individual with:

  • Experience designing, building, and operating enterprise applications on public cloud platforms and in a shared services environment.
  • Advanced experience with Citrix delivered applications, software load balancing, and knowledge of networking protocols.
  • A self-driven attitude toward learning new skills and adopting upcoming technologies.
