Financial Accountant Opportunity in Remote North-West WA

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our client's busy and friendly office in the far North-West region of WA.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established accountancy firm and enjoy the benefits of working in a remote location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare income tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships within deadline and productivity targets
  • Complete complex CGT calculations
  • Prepare financial and activity statements
  • Provide excellent understanding of GST law, capital gains tax knowledge, and trust law
  • Liaise with external clients and internal departments
  • Prepare various reports for senior management

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years Australian Tax or Business Services experience
  • A Business degree - majoring in Accounting/Finance
  • CPA qualification
  • Able to relocate and prepared to live in a remote North-West WA location
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with a strong business acumen
  • A proven team player
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
