Security Director

We are seeking a seasoned security professional to fill this leadership role, focused on directing our risk and security management functions. The successful candidate will provide the optimal level of security and safety for our team, business partners, and customers.
About the Role- Proactively plan and deliver priorities from our Safety Framework, ensuring a safe and secure environment that exceeds customer expectations while promoting safety as an integral part of the customer experience.
- Manage hazard identification, incidents, emergencies, near misses, and claims, with a focus on mitigating risks and minimizing disruptions.
- Develop and implement effective safety audits and inspection programs, driving compliance with all security and health & safety policies, procedures, and practices.
- Manage external contract partners and security teams, building strong relationships with key stakeholders including local Police, WHS Regulators, Fire Brigade, and Ambulance Services.
- Exceptional risk management expertise, with a strong background in leading risk management and security initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to mitigate and manage risk, manage incident response, reporting, authority interaction, and insurance claims management.
- Experience and technical knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems, as well as visitor and contractor management systems.
