Acute Care Manager

The After Hours Hospital Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing patient flow systems, monitoring performance indicators and allocating staff resources effectively during non-traditional hours.
This position demands strong leadership capabilities to provide strategic support to clinical and non-clinical personnel, ensure optimal patient flow from the Emergency department at all times, and facilitate appropriate admissions after hours in line with current guidelines.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge, skills and experience in acute healthcare settings, as well as proficiency in IPM management principles and demonstrated leadership expertise including staff management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing visionary leadership to clinical and non-clinical teams
- Maintaining effective communication with hospital personnel
- Ensuring compliance with current protocols and guidelines
- Serving as a resource for nursing staff and hospital personnel
