Acute Hospital Nursing Care Specialist

We are seeking Registered Nurses with recent acute hospital experience to join our team in a flexible capacity.
Our Central Resource Unit provides a dedicated workforce to support Epworth clinical units based in Geelong, and shifts are also available in Melbourne Hospitals. This offers a wide choice of sites and specialties where you can develop your knowledge and skills.
You will have opportunities to work across a variety of specialties including orthopaedics, urology, colorectal, vascular, general surgery, ENT, gynaecology, plastics, neurosurgery, complex pain management, general medical/oncology and inpatient rehabilitation.

To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have a contemporary understanding of best practice in surgical and medical nursing care and the patient journey.
- Have recent experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Excel in interpersonal communication and teamwork.
- Be willing to learn and grow professionally.
- Enjoy working flexibly within a team environment.
- Possess a strong understanding of patient-centred care.
- Maintain excellent communication with patients, staff and visitors.
- Develop effective time management and prioritisation skills.
Key Requirements
- A current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
- Completion of a Graduate Year or 12 months of relevant experience since graduation.
- A current Working with Children Check (Employee).
