We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join our team at Ertech, a leading Australian civil and electrical construction business. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in our Head Office in Wangara, Perth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and improve contract administration mechanisms to drive business growth and maximize profitability.
  • Manage and mentor the commercial team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve targets and objectives.
  • Provide support and work with General and Operations Managers to ensure project commercial requirements and outcomes are met.
  • Lead and manage contract negotiations, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable for the company while maintaining positive relationships with clients.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities to achieve what is both urgent and important to meet both deadlines and others' needs.
  • Build positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental issues are considered effectively in the programming of works.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar.
  • Exposure on a broad range of Civil Engineering projects, such as roads, concrete works, remediation, buildings, etc.
  • 5+ years relevant site experience.
  • Solid understanding of Commercial requirements, contract management, subcontract management, cost control, developing contract agreements, and negotiations in the Civil Engineering industry.
  • Sound understanding of estimating fundamentals.
  • Identify commercial risk and opportunities.
  • Knowledge in the use of ERP systems, especially COINS.
