Job Summary

The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating mechanical construction activities, workforce, plant resources, and sub-contract teams to achieve effective performance and ensure the safe and successful completion of the project on schedule and to the specified quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate mechanical work and performance of construction teams and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian standards and regulations.
  • Plan upcoming work and ensure resource levels are adequate.
  • Proactively manage on-site safety through strategies and programs to minimize incidents.

Requirements

  • Possess 8+ years' hands-on experience as a Mechanical Supervisor/Leading Hand in the construction industry.
  • Mechanical trades qualification relevant to the construction and building industry.
  • Ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong drive, determination, and a positive attitude.
