About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our project development team in Brisbane, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for mechanical aspects of projects.

You will lead design, development, modification, and evaluation of mechanical components and processes, ensuring the unique and complex requirements of projects are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and select standard mechanical engineering methods and techniques for project assignments.
  • Design, develop, modify, and evaluate mechanical components and processes using relevant engineering procedures and standards.
  • Prepare or assist in preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports, and proposals.
  • Coordinate mechanical engineering efforts with specialty groups, engineering disciplines, clients, vendors, and construction teams.
  • Provide guidance to other mechanical engineering personnel for specific tasks or projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and 10-13 years of relevant experience.
