Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional personal care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Assist Registered Nurses with vital sign documentation, medication administration, and resident assessments.
  • Support residents with meal consumption and monitoring nutrition, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Contribute to infection control and prevention measures, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
  • Provide palliative care, restorative care, and pain management services, ensuring residents receive holistic care.
  • Liaise with residents' families, doctors, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements for Success:

  • Certification in Aged Care or Individual Support, or equivalent.
  • Current COVID-19 vaccinations and annual flu shot.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Minimum 6 months of full-time experience in Aged Care as a Personal Care Worker in Australia.
  • Current Police Check and NDIS Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
