The Australian Research Data Commons is seeking skilled Solutions Architects to contribute to the development of national-scale digital research infrastructure. The primary focus areas include:
- National Digital Health Research Infrastructure: This initiative aims to enhance collaboration and data sharing among researchers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
Solutions Architects will have a deep understanding of cloud-based solutions, integration patterns, and data governance frameworks. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
Main Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and deployment plans
- Provide expert-level guidance on cloud computing, data integration, and security best practices
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Certified Cloud Solution Architect, are preferred. Experience working with Agile methodologies and version control systems, like Git, is also beneficial. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong passion for developing innovative cloud solutions that drive business value.
