About the Role

As a Quantitative Modeller at Macquarie, you will play a crucial role in managing quantitative models within Treasury, focusing on stress testing, credit risk, balance sheet management, interest rate risk, and net zero & climate. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a high-performing team and contribute to real change within the organization.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain retail and non-retail credit risk models for stress testing and provisions, as well as project-related work, such as analytics support for our risk protection program and climate risk stress testing.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-5 years' experience in financial modeling, ideally with exposure to credit risk (such as stress testing, capital, provisions, application scorecards).
  • Technical proficiency in SQL and a language such as R or Python.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas to business leaders.
  • Strong academic background in a quantitative degree such as mathematics, statistics, actuarial, engineering, or computer science.
  • High drive, motivation, and a commercial and learning mindset.
