Job Overview

Bupa is a leading international healthcare group seeking a technical leader to drive our Environment as a Service (EaaS) initiative. In this role, you'll design, deploy, and optimize scalable cloud and on-premises application environments.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, fit-for-purpose environments for enterprise-level development, testing, and production. You will also design and implement self-service, on-demand ephemeral environments with automated provisioning and cost optimization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver, uplift, and maintain high-quality environments
  • Design and implement self-service, on-demand ephemeral environments
  • Build comprehensive automation solutions for environment management workflows
  • Enhance visibility through dashboards and monitoring
  • Optimize configurations for reliability and efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement in environment management processes

Requirements:

  • 8–10+ years of experience in Azure Cloud, environment engineering, or DevOps
  • Strong background in CI/CD, automation tools, and Agile methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven success in managing complex environments and engaging cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation
