The Role

We are seeking an experienced Auditor to join our Sydney CBD office. As an Auditor, you will play a key role in delivering fit-for-purpose outcomes on audit and non-audit activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing audits in line with Australian standards and staying up-to-date with technical knowledge and standards.
  • Assisting the Audit Managers and the Internal Audit team in delivering audit and non-audit activities.
  • Monitoring reviews on remediation actions and following up as necessary to ensure they have been effectively addressed.
  • Contributing to the development of the annual risk-based audit plan to ensure the plan is relevant to the needs of the business.
  • Preparing Internal Audit reports and Audit committee papers.
  • Identifying and assessing the appropriateness and effectiveness of audit processes.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 2+ years' Internal Audit experience, preferably in public practice.
  • A University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related fields.
  • CA/CPA qualification or currently undertaking.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
