The Role

We are seeking a skilled Grounds and Maintenance Attendant to join our team at Discovery Park, Townsville.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the condition and cleanliness of park facilities, including amenities, camp kitchen, and play areas.
  • Performing general grounds upkeep, including landscaping, mowing, and litter removal.
  • Carrying out repairs and routine maintenance tasks on park accommodation and facilities.
  • Managing and maintaining park equipment and tools.
  • Adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Key Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in grounds keeping.
  • Skilled in building and grounds maintenance tasks.
  • Attention to detail to ensure the safety and aesthetic appeal of the property.
  • The ability to safely operate groundskeeping equipment and power tools.
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility to work over a 7-day roster.

A valid driver's license is essential.
