Opportunities for a Registered Nurse in Aged Care

We are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team at a residential aged care facility in North Parramatta.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to work in a supportive environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centred care to our elderly residents.

The successful candidate will have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and demonstrated experience in aged care nursing or a similar healthcare setting. Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care are essential.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a caring and compassionate nature, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing, planning, and delivering nursing care to residents
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing and reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of holistic care
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation
  • Providing guidance and support to care staff
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Demonstrated experience in aged care nursing or a similar healthcare setting
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring and compassionate nature with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of the elderly
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
