Looking for a challenging opportunity in IT operations management? We have an exciting role for an Operations Manager to lead our Endpoint Engineering team.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and drive a high-performance culture within the team.
  • Lead automation efforts, drive improvements and efficiencies, and oversee daily operations of the Endpoint Engineering team with minimal supervision from management.
  • Validate and assist in maintaining the client's risk and issues registers.
  • Ensure governance of all implementations and changes affecting the end-user SOE environment and implement best practice support methodologies.
  • Assist with identifying and implementing shift-left initiatives.
  • Identify improvements/project revenue opportunities within new accounts or contribute to the Service Improvement register for existing clients.
  • Evaluate project design principles to result in service improvements, efficiencies, and/or cost reductions for the customer/Datacom post-implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Comprehensive understanding of supporting customers across an outsourced delivery environment.
  • Previous operational management experience within a Managed Services Environment.
  • Excellent understanding of financials surrounding profit and loss.
  • Knowledge of Hardware and Software Vendors' support processes, including product lifecycles.
  • Advanced End User management knowledge.
  • Modern and traditional End Point Device Management Solutions (SCCM, Intune, AutoPilot, and other MDM/endpoint management solutions).
  • Microsoft Operating System Configuration & Deployment (Win10-Win11).
  • Collaboration Platforms (Teams for Business, Planner).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both technical and non-technical formats.
  • Ability to operate under limited direction.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent delegation skills clearly outlining expectations and accountability.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management both internal and external.
  • Ability to build a cohesive team and work with large teams.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Beginner Level Project Management principles and/or Project Management.
  • Ability to work with customers to conduct discovery tasks to support project engagements.
  • M365 Stack exposure.
  • Azure Virtual Desktop experience.
  • Apple OS support and project experience.
  • ITIL Certifications.
