Job Title: Data Architect

Job Summary:

Hudson Australia is seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team. As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing data architecture solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of data frameworks and enterprise data architecture, collaborating with the program team and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements across the organization, informing the design and implementation of the enterprise data model and integration processes.
  • Review and analyze current state infrastructure, systems, and approaches, providing recommendations on solutions to improve data management.
  • Design data integration solutions to connect various data sources, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
  • Develop architecture documentation to support program outputs and ensure they meet quality assurance standards.
  • Contribute to program and project plans, technology assessments, and recommend new data technologies and tools to improve data architecture and data management practices.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
  • Understanding of data security and privacy regulations.
  • Contribution to risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Higher learning degree, or similar, in data science and/or computer science and/or information technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, data management, or a related field.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in best practice data architecture, essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of contemporary technologies, languages, and standards to manage data effectively, crucial.
  • Strong background in data management, data integration, and data governance, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
  • Experience with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, highly desirable.
