About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency incidents and provide fire and rescue services to the community.
  • Participate in regular drills and training sessions to maintain and improve your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to community education and awareness programs to promote fire safety and emergency preparedness.
  • Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
  • Contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of station facilities and equipment.
Requirements
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status.
  • Manual C Class driver's licence.
  • Ability to commit to attending 50% of emergency calls as a day worker or 30% as a shift worker.
  • Ability to attend 75% of regular drill and training sessions.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in emergency services or a related field.
  • First aid and emergency care certification.
  • MRV licence.
