About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency incidents, including fires and other hazardous situations, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Participate in regular training and drills to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to community education and outreach activities to promote fire safety and emergency preparedness.
  • Operate specialized firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of station facilities and equipment.
Requirements
  • Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
  • Live or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status
  • Manual C Class driver's licence
