Job Role:

As a Coding Educator, you will inspire the next generation by engaging them in meaningful STEM activities that bring out their best. You will be working as part of a growing team to develop and deliver activities using contemporary technologies such as coding, virtual reality, and 3D printing.

The role involves facilitating workshops with school-age children using LEGO Educational resources, leading children to nominated classrooms, supervising children, and administering first aid if required. You will also deliver workshops during school time, provide teacher training, transport, store, charge, clean, and safeguard workshop resources, develop workshop programs, and provide feedback from students and parents.

In addition, you will promote workshops to current and new customers, promote a safe work environment, follow operational guidelines, identify and remove risks and hazards, report incidents, communicate with parents and other staff as required, carry out formal assessments of students, and develop term reports. The ideal candidate should be comfortable and confident with technology, have a background or interest in teaching, engineering, science, or similar, and be able to learn and pick up these concepts quickly.
