About the Role

IQVIA Argentina is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Sydney NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update universe and sample files as needed.
  • Specify required changes to the data if necessary.
  • Update the history file(s), applying corrections to historical data as needed.
  • Suggest new automation opportunities to create process efficiencies.
  • Manipulate database queries.
  • Maintain and enhance the quality of highly complex databases by identifying and implementing quality control measures and procedures.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to support an off-shore production hub and advise on the scheduling of day-to-day activities to ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely deliverables that meet requirements.
  • Serve as an escalation point for resolving exceptions and complex queries.
  • Support the business/department in the development and implementation of new systems and offerings.
  • Perform ongoing analysis and evaluation of existing processes with the objective of providing continuous improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Two (2) years of industry experience in a technical environment, including programming experience.
  • Strong PC literacy skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong technical skills, including SQL, Access, Python.
  • Ability to carry out analysis and information gathering to resolve problems on non-routine matters.
  • General knowledge of company products and pharmaceutical industry or field specific to a major function.
  • An understanding of legislation and commercialization of medicines in Australia.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain and distribution channels in Australia.
