Senior Family Lawyer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Family Lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in family law matters, including parenting and property settlement applications, divorce applications, protection orders, and family dispute resolution.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal advice to clients, represent them in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances, and manage their own caseload within set timeframes.

This role offers flexible working arrangements, with the opportunity to work from home or in our office located directly opposite the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert legal advice to clients on family law matters
  • Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances
  • Managing complex family law cases, including parenting and property settlements, divorces, and protection orders
  • Collaborating with other professionals, such as mediators and arbitrators, to resolve family disputes

We are looking for a practitioner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.

A minimum of five years' experience in family law is required, as well as a strong focus on delivering client-focused services that meet the needs of diverse clients.
