The Role:

ASC seeks a WHSE Systems and Governance Specialist to design and develop industry-leading WHSE frameworks, systems, and processes. This role will lead all governance aspects of ASC's WHSE programs and initiatives.

This position is responsible for designing sustainable libraries of WHSE content, tools, and templates aligned to WHSE programs. The specialist will also review WHSE communications framework against best practice.

The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in workplace health and safety management or equivalent, and a minimum of 4-6 years of experience, 2 of which in a senior systems role.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing industry-leading WHSE frameworks, systems, and processes;
  • Leading all governance aspects of ASC's WHSE programs and initiatives;
  • Reviewing WHSE communications framework against best practice;
  • Maintaining relationships with key management personnel and employees;
  • Representing the WHSE team in risk and governance forums.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in data analysis, workflow design, and governance frameworks. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS Project and MS Excel, are required. A strongly collaborative approach, high level of integrity and resilience, and ability to adapt to changing priorities are essential for success in this role.
