Senior Technical Artist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist to join our team. As a Senior Technical Artist, you will play a key role in the development of tools and pipelines to support our artistic vision.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing efficient graphics pipelines to streamline the creative process.
  • Developing and maintaining high-quality rigs for characters, creatures, and objects using your expertise in rigging principles and software proficiency in Maya.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as modeling and animation, to ensure rigs are intuitive, efficient, and easy to animate.
  • Working closely with artists and technicians to achieve the project's desired result in Unreal Engine.

You will be responsible for analyzing constraints and needs, defining technical directives, suggesting efficient production methods, creating and maintaining tools/scripts, training artists, ensuring compatibility with various target platforms, and monitoring technical and artistic processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Expertise in Unreal Engine Tools.
  • Expertise in 3D Tools: Maya, 3Ds Max, ZBrush, Blender, Substance.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, dotnet/C#.
  • Experience with device limitations and challenges.
  • Excellent ability to communicate technical terms and information to all stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in 3D Modeling, Texturing, Shading, Lighting, Rendering, Skinning, Rigging, VFX, and Animation.
