Financial Planning and Analysis Role

At Macquarie, we are seeking a skilled Financial Planning and Analysis professional to join our Risk Management Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business units with financial planning and analysis expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the Risk Management Group and wider business teams to provide decision support and advice.
  • Prepare, review, and report financial results, providing meaningful insights into the cost base.
  • Support and continuously improve the Business Group Financial Planning and Analysis teams and business leads to ensure understanding of cost recoveries methodologies and its impacts to the businesses.
Requirements
  • 4+ years' experience within a financial planning and analysis or treasury role.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification, such as actuarial, accounting, economics, engineering, or mathematics.
  • CA/CPA qualified.
  • Experience with Power BI, TM1, Alteryx, or similar data visualization applications.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and succinctly explain large and complex data sets.
  • Experience with budgeting, profit and loss, and balance sheet reporting.

The Risk Management Group is an independent, centralized function responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring, and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
