Are you a seasoned process engineer looking to take on a leadership role? We're seeking an experienced Process Engineer - Team Lead to join our Engineering team in Adelaide.

As a Process Engineer - Team Lead, you will lead process engineering activities on projects, ensuring compliance with Australian standards, and driving innovation in our projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead process engineering design and analysis for projects across water, defence, and energy sectors.
  • Develop and implement process simulations and models to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met within specified timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Australian standards and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in process engineering within water/defence projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian standards and regulations pertaining to process engineering, process safety knowledge is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and project management experience.
  • Current Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain Defence clearance required.
