Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Coordinator to join our team in a dynamic 195-place service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's growth and development.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team, providing before school care, after school care, and vacation care for up to 195 children. We work closely with St Pius Primary School and our parish community, ensuring a strong, supportive, and values-driven environment for both children and educators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the service, including program planning, delivery, and documentation
  • Staff rostering and supervision
  • Administration and financial management tasks (e.g. fee collection)
  • Delivering a high quality, inclusive, educational program
  • Providing children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
  • Working collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Children's Services or ACECQA-approved school-age qualification, including studies in education, community services, health, therapy, sports, or creative arts
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
  • Experience in the education and care of children (OSHC)
  • Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
  • Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
