Role Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Receptionist to enhance our dynamic reception team. As the initial point of contact for our esteemed patients, it is crucial that our reception staff exemplify professionalism, a patient-centered approach, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to patients and stakeholders.
  • Manage incoming calls and maintain the appointment calendar efficiently.
  • Ensure patients receive a seamless experience with accurate preparation, quotes, and appointment scheduling.
  • Handle billing, process invoices to Medicare and OSHC, and manage payments via EFTPOS.
  • Support back-office operations, including managing stationery orders.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and thrive in a patient-focused clinical setting. Team collaboration is essential to ensure our patients receive the highest level of service and care.

  • Experience in medical imaging or reception is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with the COMRAD radiology information system is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient keyboard skills and experience with standard software applications.
  • Exhibit compassionate patient care and outstanding customer service, both in-person and over the phone.
  • A motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail.
