Job Title: Assistant Girls Basketball Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Girls Basketball Coach to join our team at Natrona County School. As an Assistant Coach, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Coach in leading the team to success, while also developing the skills and knowledge of our student-athletes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Coach in developing and implementing game plans and strategies
  • Help to recruit and retain top talent for the team
  • Develop and implement practice plans to improve team performance
  • Assist with game-day operations, including scouting, game planning, and in-game decision-making
  • Provide guidance and support to student-athletes on and off the court
  • Communicate effectively with parents, administrators, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture
Requirements:
  • Current PTSB Coaching Certificate
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification
  • Ability to work afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong knowledge of basketball rules and strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a high school basketball coach
  • Knowledge of the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA) rules and regulations
  • Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive coaching philosophy
