Role Overview
The Community Care Worker is a vital position that enables clients to live independently with confidence. This role requires an individual who can provide personal care, daily living assistance, social and community engagement, and transportation for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing in-home personal care services including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
- Implementing the client's care plan as outlined by their healthcare provider.
- Supporting clients with social and community engagement activities.
- Assisting clients with transportation for shopping and appointments.
Requirements:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proof of comprehensive insurance and registration of a motor vehicle.
- A current driver's license and willingness to drive in the course of work.
