Job Role and Responsibilities

About this Position:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Professional with extensive experience in Mainframe technologies.
  • This role involves analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • The successful candidate will lead and manage teams, developing high- and low-level design of Mainframe products as per industry standards.
  • Responsibilities include creating design documents, reviewing technical documents, defining user stories, and tracking development activities.
  • This position also involves designing and building deliverables to ensure traceability of built solutions to architectural principles and business objectives.

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • Mainframe skills like IMS-DB/DC, PL1, CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, SQL, VSAM, Assembler, Easytrieve, APIs, and Cloud Fundamentals.
  • Expertise in CORE Banking and Australian Lending processes.
  • Familiarity with tools like Swagger & Postman.
  • Vast experience with Mainframe tools like CA7-Job Scheduler, IBM Fault Analyzer, IMS Trace, Debug Tool for Z/OS, CAT for Database Management Solutions for Z/OS, Xporter & SAR Reporting tool, XPEDITOR, File-Aid, CPSM-CICSPlex SM Web User Interface (WUI).
  • Problem & Change Management tools like Service Now, Remedy, IT Service Portal, HP Service Centre, and Quality Centre & ALM.
  • Programming Tools - IBM Explorer for z/OS and z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition - Experienced, ADDI Essentials, and Mainframe Modernization tools.
  • Agile and SCRUM methodologies with Scrum Master experience.
