BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to perform home health visits for adult and geriatric patients. As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing services to clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional status and develop individualized intervention plans.
  • Evaluate home environments for hazards or barriers to independent living and identify equipment needs.
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Educate patients, family members, or caregivers on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for health and safety.

Requirements:

  • A current MD Occupational Therapist license.
  • Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Solid computer skills and prior experience with EMR preferred.
