Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist or Environmental Scientist with more than 5 years of hands-on experience to contribute to our team's success. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting ecological surveys, preparing reports, and providing expert advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ecological surveys and assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare Flora and Fauna Reports, Vegetation Management Plans, and other environmental documents.
  • Provide expert advice on bushfire hazards, development constraints, and environmental planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience working as an Ecologist or Environmental Scientist.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ecological survey methodologies and report writing.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
