Locksmith/Handyperson Job Description">

Seeking an experienced locksmith/handyman to support our operations and maintenance activities.

This role requires an Australian citizen due to security clearance requirements.

The successful candidate will be based in Craigieburn, VIC.

">">The locksmith/handyman's responsibilities will include:">
  • Carrying out preventative and reactive security door maintenance duties as instructed.">
  • Responding to urgent security door issues.">
  • Installation, adjustments, and repairs of internal locks at the site.">
  • Providing advice on security matters where appropriate.">
  • Liaising with facilities maintenance managers to efficiently carry out tasks and services.">
  • Conducting work activities in accordance with proper procedures, equipment, and training.">
  • Completing daily inspections and report writing.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A locksmith qualification.">
  • A proven track record of working unsupervised and a keen attention to detail.">
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.">
  • A WHS Construction White Card.">
  • A drivers licence.">
  • Australian citizenship.">
  • Comfortable ability to utilize a work laptop/phone.">
  • Handyman experience in carpentry & general repairs (desirable).
