Improve your career prospects with a 3-year Civil Construction Apprenticeship. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in civil construction, road construction and maintenance.

As an apprentice, you will earn while you learn, combining paid work with structured training to develop practical, in-demand skills. You will receive hands-on experience and comprehensive training while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

No previous experience is required for this role. A C Class driver licence and access to reliable transport are necessary for the position.

The apprenticeship will be based in Yass, commencing in February 2026. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience within a NSW Government agency, building your future in a growing field.

Key Requirements:
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident
  • Have completed Year 10 or hold a Record of School Achievement (RoSA) or equivalent
  • Be ready to commence full-time employment in February 2026
  • Hold, or be in the process of obtaining, a C Class driver licence
  • Have access to reliable transport to travel to the office or depot
  • Be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, or near live traffic as required
  • Be willing to travel as part of your role
  • Have basic computer literacy skills
  • Demonstrate teamwork and maintain a positive, accountable approach in all you do
