About the Role

We are working with a healthcare organization that is redefining access to affordable healthcare for residents in aged care. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be part of a collaborative care model that brings together a team of doctors, nurses, geriatricians, carers, and allied health professionals to support the healthcare needs of residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care services to residents in aged care facilities
  • Use a combination of face-to-face consultations and virtual care to improve access to doctors and specialists
  • Conduct regular routine consultations to prevent hospitalizations and improve health outcomes
  • Coordinate care to ensure residents receive the right care in the right place at the right time
  • Work collaboratively with the care facility staff and healthcare professionals to provide seamless and simple care
Eligibility
  • Vocationally or generally registered GP
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Experience in ED and/or General Practice
  • Doctors restricted by the moratorium are eligible to apply
