Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cold store warehouse, ensuring efficient and smooth shift completion.

The Role:

This is a challenging and dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating tasks, assisting with receiving and dispatching stock, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate PM nightly activities across the team
  • Assist with the receiving, storing, staging, and loading of all stock in and out
  • Ensure Pan Loading is in accordance with COR requirements and legislation
  • Identify any issues arising from discrepancies in paperwork (Load plans, Manifest Con Notes) and liaise with relevant stakeholders to rectify
  • Ensure employees' paperwork is fully and correctly completed and signed off, and hold employees accountable for their paperwork quality and compliance
  • Upskill and report non-conformance to management
  • Daily completion of end-of-shift handover report for day shift team
  • Demonstrate safe work practices and maintain a safe working environment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated safety and compliance focus
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a supervisory position, preferably in perishable goods warehousing or refrigerated transport
  • Solid experience in warehousing and transport industry processes, preferably in perishable goods storage and refrigerated transport
  • Worksafe high-risk forklift license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • The ability to work in cold room environments
