Our organisation is seeking a dedicated and skilled Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our residential home on a casual basis. This role offers the flexibility to work hours you can commit to, with no contractual obligation.

As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will be working with young people exhibiting challenging behaviour in a children's residential home. The ideal candidate will be flexible, resilient, honest, well-organised, and committed to providing high-quality childcare to help young people achieve positive outcomes.

  • Previous experience working with challenging young people, preferably in a residential setting (not essential)
  • A QCF Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People
  • The ability to work independently with high accuracy and maintain clear records
  • Good interpersonal skills and a positive team attitude
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • The ability to complete daily records meeting statutory and policy requirements
  • An empathetic nature
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to engage, motivate, and encourage young people
  • A full manual driving license
