Role Description

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) is seeking a visionary Chief Information Technology Officer to lead its IT Partnerships and Innovation function. As a key member of the Technology Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for managing Ahpra's information technology contract portfolio, ensuring optimal value and commercial viability in partnerships with IT service delivery partners.

You will develop and implement comprehensive business strategies and executable plans aimed at maximising value-for-money across all IT contracts. This involves analysing market trends, negotiating contracts, and fostering strong relationships with service providers to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

A critical aspect of this role is your ability to drive change management initiatives, promoting a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, coaching, and professional development. You will lead a team of specialists, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to succeed in their roles.

In addition to your technical expertise, you must possess excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate closely with various stakeholders to achieve common objectives. Strong analytical abilities will enable you to assess market trends and make data-driven decisions.

About You

We offer a competitive salary of $150,000 per annum, plus benefits including discounted health insurance, flexible work arrangements, and a sophisticated open-plan workspace in a central location. Some interstate travel will be required.
