About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Sustainability Advisor to join our team at Blackbook Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our clients in the implementation of effective safety and sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with key stakeholders to deliver improved management of significant safety risks, ensuring clear differentiation between high consequence risks and common injury/claim risks.
  • Analysis of risks and development of improvement plans.
  • Coordination of health and hygiene assessments.
  • Delivery of priority improvements covering several key points including fatality prevention protocols, injury prevention and workers' compensation plans, audit action plans.
  • Work with key stakeholders to deliver improved management of significant sustainability risks, including products and operations.
  • Management of regulatory and licensing compliance.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in science or specialist S&S discipline desirable.
  • 5+ years S&S experience in high consequence risk manufacturing organisations.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Well-developed analytical and root-cause identification skills.
