Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site audits and reviews to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement effective safety procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the project.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff and subcontractors on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a safety-related role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
