Job Title: Public Relations

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Public Relations professional. The role involves developing and executing strategic media and public relations initiatives to convey the organization's core messages, priorities, and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing and communication skills, along with a proven record of successful media engagement. They will be proactive in managing media strategies, handling complex issues, and crafting high-quality content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing media strategies to enhance the organization's public image
  • Crafting compelling content for various channels
  • Managing sensitive media issues and providing strategic advice
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience in media environments and public relations
  • Strong writing and research skills for creating effective communications
  • Experience in generating media opportunities and pitching news content
  • Ability to manage sensitive media issues and provide strategic advice
