The Role
This dynamic leadership opportunity is based in Canberra Airport and requires the management of the Customer Service department, overseeing third-party stakeholders, and developing and implementing short and long-term strategic improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for the delivery of agreed service standards within defined financial, operational, people, safety, and compliance objectives. Your analytical and operational knowledge will ensure performance targets are understood and achieved for all operational requirements.

About You
We seek an experienced professional with a proven track record in operations management, preferably in an airport or aviation environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize conflicting tasks, are essential. Commercial acumen, literacy, and communication skills are also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with project management software are necessary. Additionally, you should have demonstrated success in managing medium to long-term projects, programs, or change initiatives. A passion for customer service, continuous improvement, and managing a safe workplace is desirable.
