Job Summary

This is a senior role that requires an experienced Systems Engineer to lead multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of engineering change and in-service support of complex systems. As a highly skilled professional, you will be responsible for managing ECPs or designs through system engineering reviews and process, working collaboratively with Integrated Products Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage technical scope and deliver results within quality, schedule, and budget constraints
  • Lead key reviews including development approval and other technical design reviews
  • Analyse requirements compliance and resolve bugs/defects
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and teach, guide, and coach them
  • Develop and review support system specifications, design notes, Integration / Test Plans and Procedures, and other support artefacts

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in complex technical development and integration projects
  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated technical leadership qualities and ability to work on behalf of the Engineering Services Manager to deliver technical solutions
  • Experience with Change Management processes and progressing change management artefacts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders and customers
