Role Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated mental health professional to join our multidisciplinary team. This part-time position offers strong potential for growth and is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and early-career clinicians who are passionate about making a positive impact.

The role requires providing culturally responsive, evidence-based mental health services to a diverse client caseload, including individuals from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds. Key responsibilities include offering trauma-informed therapeutic support, conducting psychological and mental health assessments, and championing neurodiversity-affirming approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive mental health services to clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide trauma-informed therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Promote neurodiversity-affirming practices and partner with autistic and ADHD clients to achieve their goals.
  • Support clients with various mental health presentations, including trauma-related experiences, anxiety, and depression.
  • Develop collaborative, evidence-based treatment plans that cater to individual needs.
  • Collaborate effectively within a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and documentation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A registered psychologist, accredited social worker, or credentialed mental health nurse with full registration with AHPRA or accreditation with AASW.
  • Professional proficiency in a language other than English.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check, and proof of right to work in Australia.
  • A deep commitment to trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming practice principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a collaborative spirit.
