Clinical Care Leader Role

This position is responsible for providing strategic clinical direction to nursing and care staff, collaborating with management, clinicians, carers, residents, families, support staff, and community agencies to deliver a high-quality, resident-focused service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure quality person-centered care is provided to residents and that care staff are supported to deliver exceptional care in a home-like environment.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care and nursing assessment, ensuring care delivery aligns with Aged Care Standards, Resident Choice, and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Care Manager to report national quality indicators below benchmark, driving clinical improvement in the home for our residents.
Requirements:
  • Excellent clinical, time management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem-solve.
  • A compassionate, flexible, and positive approach to effective person-centered care.
  • The ability to foster friendly, respectful relationships with team members, residents, and families, contributing to a collaborative team environment with staff and visiting health professionals.
  • Previous aged care experience in a supervisory role is essential.
