Clinical Specialist

This role offers a chance to provide expert clinical management and treatment of patients in the gastroenterology unit, while maintaining safe, effective, and professional care for patients within the community.
The successful candidate will work closely with a team of 7 gastroenterologists supported by junior medical officers and allied health professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic clinical community with access to modern facilities and equipment.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient services, delivering evidence-based and patient-centered care.
- Participate in on-call rosters for general gastroenterology and ERCP duties as required.
- Support the growth and enhancement of the department through participation in initiatives and committees.
The ideal candidate will have recent clinical experience as a gastroenterologist, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, small bowel enteroscopy, and ERCP. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent is also essential.

The Visiting Medical Officer will be responsible for maintaining professional knowledge through ongoing education and development, and adhering to Healthscope policies and procedures.
