About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal advisor to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support across a range of legislation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law and experience working in a fast-paced regulatory environment. You will be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing clear and concise legal advice on a range of legislation administered by our organization
- Assisting with the regulation of commercial operators and legal policy
- Drafting legal and policy documents to ensure efficient and effective oversight
- Assisting with governance structures and preparing agendas and minutes of meetings
- Researching and drafting advice to facilitate appropriate outcomes
- Assisting key stakeholders on a range of matters and requests for advice
- Maintaining and updating registers and precedent systems to ensure integrity and consistency of data
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of NSW and hold a current practising certificate. You will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
